UKMC Student Ambassador learning pathway

Social Media Ambassador training

Share approved, accurate and accessible information while protecting students’ privacy.

Getting to know UKMC

UK Management College (UKMC) supports students studying higher education courses, including courses delivered with partner institutions. Students may have different courses, campuses and awarding or partner institutions. Always use the official UKMC website and your own course handbook to check the arrangements that apply to you.

Student Ambassadors help people feel included, share reliable information and direct students to the appropriate College team. They do not make academic decisions, investigate complaints or provide specialist professional advice.

Your specialist role

Share approved, accurate and accessible information while protecting students’ privacy.

Good practice means treating students fairly, checking information before sharing it, protecting private information and referring concerns to the right staff. Ask for guidance whenever you are unsure.

Check your understanding

Answer five questions about your role. You need at least four correct answers to complete this activity. You may try again.

1. Before posting an identifiable student photograph, what should you check?
2. Which caption is most accessible?
3. You see an unconfirmed event date. What should you do?
4. A student sends you sensitive personal information by direct message. What should you do?
5. What is the best response to an abusive public comment?

Your certificate details

Enter the name you want on your certificate and your UKMC or partner institution email. These details are used on this device to prepare the certificate; this activity does not send them to a server.
