UKMC Student Ambassador learning pathway

Academic Ambassador training

Encourage good study habits and help students find the right academic support.

Getting to know UKMC

UK Management College (UKMC) supports students studying higher education courses, including courses delivered with partner institutions. Students may have different courses, campuses and awarding or partner institutions. Always use the official UKMC website and your own course handbook to check the arrangements that apply to you.

Student Ambassadors help people feel included, share reliable information and direct students to the appropriate College team. They do not make academic decisions, investigate complaints or provide specialist professional advice.

Your specialist role

Encourage good study habits and help students find the right academic support.

Good practice means treating students fairly, checking information before sharing it, protecting private information and referring concerns to the right staff. Ask for guidance whenever you are unsure.

Check your understanding

3. What should you promote before assessments?
4. A student is struggling with a module. What is most helpful?
5. What is an important boundary of the ambassador role?
